ADNOC has delivered the world’s first certified bulk commercial shipment of low-carbon ammonia enabled by carbon capture and storage (CCS) to Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (Mitsui) for use in clean-power generation in Japan. The low-carbon certification process, from production to delivery, has been conducted by TÜV SÜD, an internationally renowned certification agency.

Under the agreement, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data Analytics leader Presight will acquire a 51% stake in AIQ with ADNOC retaining a 49% shareholding (previously G42 40%, ADNOC 60%). AIQ will continue as a standalone company, leveraging data to deliver transformational AI-powered solutions to the energy sector. The transaction is subject to Presight’s shareholder and regulatory approval.
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) PJSC (ADNOC) announced today that it intends to settle, via a cash payment, its US Dollar-denominated senior unsecured bonds (Exchangeable Bonds) in Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution PJSC (ADNOC Distribution), which bear a coupon of 0.70%, upon maturity on June 4, 2024. Fulfilling its financial obligations, ADNOC will pay up to $1.195 billion, along with up to $4.18 million in applicable interest.
