ADNOC Gas lies at the heart of ADNOC’s value chain, with 10+ bcfd of raw gas processing capacity and 34 natural gas processing trains.
ADNOC Gas was formed as part of the consolidation of the operations of ADNOC Gas Processing, ADNOC LNG and ADNOC Industrial Gas. The company became operational on 1 January 2023 as a new world scale entity, responsible for operations, maintenance and marketing across ADNOC’s downstream gas processing, liquified natural gas (LNG) and industrial gases businesses.
ADNOC’s gas businesses trace their heritage back to the 1970’s and the vision of UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, to minimize flaring and monetize gas associated with Abu Dhabi’s growing oil production.
ADNOC Gas lies at the heart of ADNOC’s value chain, with 10+ bcfd of raw gas processing capacity and 34 natural gas processing trains. We take gas from ADNOC’s upstream operations, both onshore and offshore, and turn it into a range of valuable gas products.
Our LNG interests are focused on Das Island, an oil and gas operations hub that also plays a major role in ADNOC’s upstream operations. On Das Island, we process and produce LNG, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), paraffinic naphtha and sulfur, both for export and transmission onshore to Habshan Complex.
