We are one of the largest offshore hydrocarbon producers in the world, responsible for the development, production, and delivery of oil and gas resources. We have been producing oil for the UAE since 1962; our products include crude oil, raw gas, and condensate at nine established fields, which comprise eight super complexes and six artificial islands.
We were formed from two ADNOC upstream oil and gas companies: Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO) and Zakum Development Company (ZADCO). Through our partnerships with several global energy players, we bring over 50 years of oil and gas exploration, development, and production expertise to the industry.
Our strategic partnerships with CNPC, Eni, ExxonMobil, INPEX/JODCO, ONGC/Falcon, OMV, and TotalEnergies have enabled us to unlock greater value, optimize costs, and extract maximum value from our resources and infrastructure.
We are focused on delivering the maximum energy and minimum emissions that the world needs, and sustainability is at the heart of our strategy.
In 2022, we announced a $3.8 billion, first-of-its-kind, sub-sea transmission network in the MENA region to connect ADNOC’s offshore operations to TAQA’s clean onshore power network, unlocking cost-savings and environmental benefits. This project will reduce ADNOC’s offshore carbon footprint by up to 50%, and further support the UAE ‘Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative’.
