Our people are our most important asset, all sharing a collective responsibility to continue improving their performance, efficiency and agility to further enable progress and prosperity, both in the UAE and across the world.
Our recruitment approach embodies ADNOC’s values of being
- Progressive

as we focus on attracting, developing and retaining the best talent.
Central to our recruitment strategy is our commitment to develop a national workforce with the right capabilities to effectively contribute to the growth and success of our business, and support Emiratization in line with national strategies.
In 2023, we hired more than 800 UAE Nationals and are on track to meet our target of 60% Emiratization by 2025.
Empowering Women

We recognize the value of Gender Balance and women’s empowerment, not only because it is the right thing to do, but because it makes business sense. This is aligned with the vision of the UAE’s leadership to inspire women to be key partners in the long-term growth and prosperity of the UAE.
We believe gender diversity brings different perspectives, impact, and experience to the workplace, and as a result leads to more innovative business solutions, higher levels of productivity and more creativity.
In 2019, we adopted a gender balance strategy and framework that will attract and retain high-potential female talent, developing them as successful leaders, and promoting their leadership abilities both within and outside ADNOC. We have since established a Gender Balance Committee as an advisory body, with the objective of fostering a greater understanding of Gender Balance.
Women work across all areas of our operations. To support female integration into our operations, we have invested in infrastructure and facilities, at our operational sites, to create an inclusive working environment and launched technical development programs for females at site. As a result, more than 800 women work across our operational sites, while we have appointed our first female Vice President for field operations.
