ADNOC and LEGO Education Sign Partnership Agreement For Advancement of STEM Education in ADNOC Schools
The agreement was signed at ADIPEC 2017 by Reem Al Buainain, Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at ADNOC and Senthil Kugan, Director ATLAB / Emphor Trading, on behalf of Lego Education.
Under the terms of the partnership agreement, Lego Innovation Studios will be constructed in all ADNOC Schools and will benefit students from Elementary to High School levels. The agreement covers the establishment of creative labs, teacher training and development programs and access to Lego Education’s global on-line collaboration communities.
Al Buainain said: “This partnership reaffirms ADNOC’s unwavering commitment to the learning and development of students in our schools, the Abu Dhabi community and the UAE overall. Our children’s education is vital to the future prosperity of the UAE. The program honors our wise leadership’s vision and ambition to create innovative education experiences to allow our youth to fulfill their potential.”
Kugan said: “The program represents ADNOC’s significant investment in the acceleration and growth of STEM education, in ADNOC schools, that will create a positive and lasting impact on UAE society.”
