ADNOC has been entrusted with the responsibility of harnessing the UAE’s resources for the benefit of the nation and, with this privilege, we have committed to being a responsible business and good neighbor to the communities around our assets, fields and business activities. 

We are devoted to managing impacts and contributing to the communities in which we operate with the aim to develop sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships. 

From the early stages of project design, we consider our operational impact on our neighbors and impacted communities. We carry out social studies to understand the local socio-economic environment and the findings from these studies form the basis for the project´s social management plan and the stakeholder engagement plan.  

Regular stakeholder communication and engagement is an important aspect of our approach to managing our societal impact.
